Topic: Mexican-American War
Mon/ Tue in class:
  • We started by looking at various issues that abolitionists aimed to resolve between 1833-1850.
  • We read excerpts from the "Territorial Expansion" chapter posted below. If you were absent, you can catch up by reading the chapter and viewing the "War with Mexico" PowerPoint.
  • Everyone was assigned a character related in some way to the Mexican War and we completed a "scavenger hunt" activity.
